RvStoria's guides and tools are general information. They don't take your vehicle, your van or your trip into account, and they aren't professional advice. Estimates are not quotes

Prices in the build estimator are indicative ranges based on public market information at the date shown. They aren't quotes or offers, and real prices vary by manufacturer, dealer, location and time.

Weights are estimates from typical figures. The compliance plate on your van and a weighbridge are the only weights that count for legal and safety purposes.

Power, solar and water figures assume typical conditions and equipment. Weather, shade, temperature, battery age and how you use your van will change the results.

Regulations

We summarise rules such as towing limits and New Zealand self-containment as accurately as we can and link to the official sources. Rules change and differ between states and countries. The official source always takes precedence over our summary.
